Last saturday, i took my golden retriever, Happy for a dog walk led by the Malaysia's Dr. Dog. It was fun and this is our first dog's outing. Golden retrievers are one of the favourite breeds and other highlights are chow chow, afghan hound, the great dane.. etc..
After bangsar, i took my dog for a drive and then on the way back to our shop at Sunway Mentari, he suddenly choked and then out came his breakfast. He puked on the cushion and carpet. No, i wasn't speeding, i was driving at low speed :) Puke in my RAV4 and plus, the cushion is fully coated with Happy's hair. Hmm.. not very pleasant :(
Dog's hair and mud might not have been a huge problem in the way back of your MPV, but now your dog is riding where people sit. Face it, neither you nor your passengers want to get out of the car coated with dog's hair. Now is also a good time to look at your grooming supplies.
First, we wash the carpet and clean up the "puke" area with Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner and Meguiar's All Surface Interior Brush. You want to ensure that the cushion is properly clean and wipe off the excess detergent with a wet towel. You seriously dont want the bad smell lingers.. and air freshner doesnt help.
As for stained area, we treat it with Meguiar's Quik Out Carpet Stain Remover. This remover uses no harsh chemicals or chlorine bleaches. Allow the formula to penetrate for 5 minutes and wipe off with a damp cloth.

One positive thing about autospa is that you can bathe your dogs at the washing bay. My golden retriever loves the power sprayer and air gun. it shower + massage :) and the Meguiar's Gold Class Extractor - The Ultimate Pet Hair And Lint Remover is funtastic.
