And now let us share how to achieve the glassy feel and look through dry sanding.

Visual 3: Step 1 - Evaluate the surface for the car.

The bonnet if full of light scratches. In this article you will read about how we remove or lighten a heavy imperfection by sanding the paint surface. This can be a very effective way to remove a scratch, but it requires a lot of skills. The drawback is this method may lead to paint crack if you are over zealous and not aware of when to stop.

Visual 4: Choose the finest sand paper, we are using P1500 sand paper on DA machine.

Visual 5: Sand the bonnet.

Visual 6: Wipe off the sand powder with a microfibre towel.

Visual 7: Finalizing sanding surface.

Visual 9: Next step, use a heavy cut wool pad to perform the first cutting.
